Watch Vogue Scandinavia’s fashion film ‘Folklore’

By Vogue Scandinavia

The Baltic sea, the icy winds, the layers on layers - this is winter by the beach. Take a trip, even if it’s just for a mere moment, and soak up that ocean air

In Finland, a reverence for craftsmanship and tradition gives way to garments that would otherwise be lost in time. Here, in a film shot exclusive for Vogue Scandinavia's December-January issue by Ola Rindal, we explore the outskirts of Helsinki in fair isle cardigans, cable knits and tartan wool skirts that catch the wind, set against more modern accents.

The story is a Finnish folktale for the future, that takes us into the archipelago where waves crash against cliffy coastlines and the wind comes from ice. Be transported to the sea but remember to layer up in your favourite designer wares.
