Video: A day in the life of CEO and female founder Pernilla Nyrensten

By Vogue Scandinavia

Here, one of Sweden's most successful business women gives Vogue Scandinavia an insight into running a company while wearing red-bottom heels

"I absolutely love entering a room full of men wearing high-heeled shoes," says CEO and founder of global outdoor clothing brand RevolutionRace, Pernilla Nyrensten. "I never wear a suit in a room full of suits." With an impressive pedigree, Nyrensten is the first female founding CEO to ring the bell at the Stockholm Stock Exchange since its inception 160 years.

A certified self-starter, Nyrensten certainly doesn't fit the stereotype when pondering the perception of a business woman. She is a woman who knows what she wants, and who won't budge on her interest in fashion. "I love most brands. Diane Von Furstenberg, all the patterns, and Prada. Bottega is also doing incredibly well." Speaking about how she started her own successful label, she gives us an insight into how these high-end fashion brands came to inspire her.

In the video below, we follow Nyrensten throughout her day as she imparts business savvy wisdoms as she goes. She leaves Vogue Scandinavia with a simple statement: "If I can do it, so can you."
