By Rebecca Hyde-Price Aggestam

From Bryan boy's Bettina to Greta Thunberg's Moses, these furry superstar pets are almost as loveable as their owners

They are sensitive, loyal and full of love, and yes, sometimes extremely Instagrammable, dogs of all breeds and shapes have long held our fascination. Loyally following their owners everywhere, dogs of the great and the good can sometimes even become stars in their own right. Take Matilda Djerf’s four-legged companion Rufus, who is regularly seen following her around in her office in Stockholm, or Bianca Ingrosso’s two furry friends who are often spotted on her reality show Wahlgrens Värld.

When finding a furry companion, there are certainly some breeds that celebrities choose over others, whether it’s for portability or temperament. Below, Vogue Scandinavia has rounded up the most famous four-legged friends you need to get to know:

Matilda Djerf's Rufus

Known internationally for her clothing brand Djerf Avenue and long career as a content creator, Djerf has rounded up a whopping 2.9 million followers over the past few years. And what has undoubtedly boosted numbers has been the appearance of her furry family member Rufus. Rufus first arrived on the grid, greeting followers in the spring of 2020. And since then fans have become enamoured with her four-legged friend. Djerf Avenue even responded to the devotion by creating a t-shirt merch of Rufus, delighting fans.

Bianca Ingrosso's Dino and Sami

Makeup guru and Wahlgrens Värld star Bianca Ingrosso, is a self-proclaimed dog-lover who dotes daily on her two furry friends, Dino and Sami. They often accompany her to the Caia makeup office and on trips with her family. She regularly jokes about their cheeky and loud persona, but simultaneously kisses and fusses them. Prompting us to believe that these dogs are not in short supply of love and devotion.

Bryan boy's Bettina

Bryanboy is known to sport only the best luxury brands and enviably travel the world for fashion events on a daily basis. No less extravagant is the life of Bettina Buffé, his Miniature Pinscher and side-kick. Bettina is always dressed in impeccable designer clothes and carried in plush designer handbags, courtesy of her generous “mummy” – as Bryanboy calls himself. This four-legged queen seems quite content with her boujiee lifestyle.

Greta Thunberg's Moses and Roxy

She travels the world fighting for climate change and challenges world leaders, but when settled in the comfort of her own home, Greta prefers the company of her two furry friends, Moses and Roxy, both of whom are rescue dogs. The moment Greta returns home from her travels, she embraces her two four-legged friends, and posts sweet reunion photos of her two chums.

Kelly Gale's Zoe and Looney

Rescue dog Zoe couldn't keep out of the spotlight during our interview with her parents, Kelly Gale and Joel Kinnaman. And even ended up featuring alongside them in our exclusive video with the couple. The pair were prompted to take the leap and adopt beguiling little Zoe from a shelter during the pandemic, a time when so many shelters were overflowing with abandoned puppies. Since then, the couple has hardly been photographed without Zoe, or indeed her companion Looney.

Crown Princess Victoria's Rio

Each member of the Swedish royal family has their own different breed of dog that they've grown partial too. And for Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel, their favoured choice is the Cavoodle, a crossbreed of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle. They adopted their new furry family member back in 2020, calling him Rio. And since then, he has not left their side, regularly making a star appearance on the official royal Instagram account.
