Corporate never looked this good

The utility-driven gorpcore, with its hiking boots and padded vests, had become well established in fashion by now, with the likes of Bella Hadid and Hailey Bieber spearheading the look. That said, Vogue Scandinavia has spotted a new contender for the industry's next favourite aesthetic. An aesthetic that this editor has decided to dub 'corpcore'. Defined by tailored three-pieces, the office-ready trend is yet to reverberate throughout the industry and reach its full sartorial potential. But it is only a matter of time. Before we know it, pinstripes will over-take pinafore as the fashion industry cosplays corporate in ties, crisp cotton shirts, and impeccably tailored suits.

It's a shift noticed during the spring/summer 2023 season. Taking inspiration from American Psycho and The Wolf of Wallstreet, when reviewing show-goer's looks for the latest fashion weeks it seems the financial district has a chokehold on the sartorial sector. With monochromatic Men in Black two-pieces and sets in 50 Shades of Grey, our favourite street stylers looked just as good on the cobble stones of Paris or Milan as they would in a boardroom.

Below, find our favourite corpcore looks from the latest fashion weeks:
