Still grappling with the no-pants trend? Fashion's flesh-baring tendencies are now torso-bound, if Omar Rudberg's Oscars look is anything to go by
It's a big week for Omar Rudberg. The third and final season of Young Royals is finally hitting Netflix streams (all bar the final episode, that is), delivering a long-awaited dose of 'Wilmon' drama to those starving for more of their 'will-they-won't-they' drama. Adding to the fan frenzy, Rudberg has stepped out on the red carpet of Hollywood's biggest night, the Oscars – in a state of partial undress.
The 25-year-old Swedish-Venezuelan heartthrob was discerning in the choice of threads he did don, however. Rudberg stepped out in a razor-sharp Prada suit, fitted to red carpet-ready perfection by Tailor Here and given a subversive edge via silver accents: a bolt at the lapel, chunky Cartier rings and a studded belt. All finished with a flawless complexion courtesy of his own brand, OMR Beauty.

Interviewed on the red carpet, Rudberg reflected on the surreal nature of his Oscars red carpet experience. "A year ago I was right outside looking in," he said, gesturing at the gathered fans outside the Hollywood venue, "and I was like, 'Oh man, what can I do to be a part of this?' I’m trying to keep it cool right now but I’m definitely a mess on the inside."
He may have been a mess inside, but Rudberg triumphed with his chest-baring look for the big night. Is the shirtless trend here to stay? With Emily Ratajkowski also adopting the look for the Loewe runway show at Paris Fashion Week, it looks like the homegrown Swedish talent and Young Royals star is onto something. No notes.
