Runaway from reality and step into the utopian world of Schnayderman’s weird and wonderful autumn/winter 2022 collection
Entitled ‘The Dreamer’, Schnayderman’s AW 2022 collection reflects the current state of the world where for the past couple of years, a global pandemic has kept our lives somewhat restricted. This season, Schnayderman’s pieces dares us to start dreaming again and look to the future, embracing both vulnerability and failure.
Drawing inspiration from the magical world of tarot cards and dreamy landscapes, contrast is one of the key elements in Schnayderman’s AW22 collection. An increase of non-binary styles boast bright pops of cobalt blue, hot pink and canary yellow that are met with dark tones of jet black and navy. Similarly, smooth, sleek surfaces mingle with textured fabrics, as the collection introduces contrasting pieces of sharp tailoring, signature mohair and ripped knits, as well as illusory prints.
Working exclusively with European fabric mills and factories, Schnayderman’s try to minimise the environmental impact. This season the label aims to highlights its’ expanding luxury knitwear, that is circularly knitted in a small, family owned factory just outside of Milan.
