Rodebjer delivers autumn/winter dressing in the form of exquisite outerwear and luscious layering
Rodebjer's autumn/winter 2022 collection is the most sustainable to date. With organic cotton, recycled leather and repurposed wool, the lineup features over 70 per cent of sustainable fabrics, paving a more eco-conscious path for the brand. Beyond materials, Rodebjer is keeping the production process transparent, working with family-owned businesses like Bonotto – a fourth-generation textile manufacturer – when making the garments.
"This collection was partially inspired by my daughter, who recently moved to Italy," founder and creative director Carin Rodebjer commented. "It has given the collection a youthful touch and energy, and a colour palette reminiscent of the houses in Tuscany and Milan."
The Rodebjer archetype for the coming season is a woman of many layers. Sharp black and white abstract prints are prevalent in the roll call. So too are jacquards and knits. Checks in earthy tones and a paisley print in gradient variants of violets are what the season is seeped in. A mini dress and a slender pant with matching shirt, in recycled leather, creates a contrast in the collection, while expressive faux fur makes for eye-catching outerwear.
