"it was great to see guests having fun and embracing the collection’s hedonistic spirit,” said Julien Dossena, creative director at Rabanne
Ever since Paco Rabanne first exploded into the French fashion scene in the '60s, the chainmail, party-ready paillettes, and form-fitting draping of his eponymous house have been synonymous with the dance floor. Fittingly, Rabanne – with Julien Dossena at the helm – selected the legendary Parisian nightclub Silencio to unveil a first look at the Rabanne H&M collection, which spans menswear, womenswear accessories and home decor and hits stores in November.
Setting the tone for the evening was none other than Swedish pop star Robyn – in good company with Peggy Gou and Cher who carried the entertainment baton late into the night. Silencio was wall-to-wall with A listers, many of which were in town as part of busy fashion week schedules (Rabanne's spring/summer '24 show inclusive), with Irina Shayk, Elle Fanning, Jared Leto, Iris Law and Ashley Graham just a few of the names in the mix (all head-to-toe in Rabanne H&M pieces, of course).
Speaking about the celebrations, Dossena remarked that “Rabanne has always been a joyful brand, and this event captured the playful mood of the Rabanne H&M collection. I always want people to feel liberated when they wear our clothes, so it was great to see guests having fun and embracing the collection’s hedonistic spirit."
