A galaxy of stars gathered in Venice to celebrate the 78th iteration of the world's oldest film festival. Among them was Swedish actress Rebecca Ferguson, who attended the premiere of Dune, in which she takes a starring role alongside Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet.
For the premiere of the film, she opted for a voluminous nude ruffled gown from Dior as she posed confidently for the cameras on the Venice red carpet. The gown was also featured in our very own first issue of Vogue Scandinavia in our Roaring Twenties editorial. The dress, from Dior's FW21 collection features a circular bloom adorning the front of the dress with a dusky-green stem cascading down, enveloped swathes of nude tulle fabric trailing elegantly behind. For shoes the star went for vertiginous silver sandals befitting the silver-screen celebration.
To complete the look the actress, 37, chose a deconstructed, natural up-do reminiscent of a french twist that she complemented with a very simple, subtle makeup look. With a clean and fresh canvas — that proudly showcased her sun-kissed freckles — she sealed it off with a shimmery mauve pink and strong defined brows.

In Dune Timothee Chalamet plays the main character 'Paul', while Zendaya takes the role as his on-screen lover 'Chan'. The plot revolves around a frightening war on the desert planet Arrakis which is being mined for precious resources. Ferguson plays 'Lady Jessica' in the upcoming film. Stellan Skarsgård will also star in the film as 'The Baron.'
