Crinkled silver metallic, quilted sweatshirt, and psychedelic tie-dye were all present during Rabens Saloner's first ever physical show
At the first-ever physical show for Rabens Saloner, the crowd gathered by the water at the classic Copenhagen spot ‘Under the Bridge’. Food and wine were served by natural wine distributors Rosforth & Rosforth to the fashion crowd gathered after a long first day of Copenhagen Fashion Week.
The collection was smattered with tie-dye and dip-dyed pieces in an array of colours from orange to purple to prink and green, across loose silhouettes. Deep cut V-necks on dresses and jumpsuits lent the otherwise laid back collection a sense of glamour. Soft tulles and silks dominated the catwalk in swooshing maxi lengths, with the occasional heavy denim jacket or jumpsuit and the intermittent skirt or jacket in crinkled metallic.
Raben Saloner’s SS22 collection was versatile, the majority of the pieces were perfect for any warm summer evening, but founder and creative director Birgitte Raben didn’t stop there. A quilted skirt and top in sweatshirt material, as well as a knitted cardigan and trouser combination, affirmed the brand’s relaxed yet refined aesthetic.
