Fashion Week Diaries: This was Norwegian supermodel Frida Aasen's exclusive Milan experience

By Vogue Scandinavia

Giving Vogue Scandinavia an exclusive backstage pass to her unfiltered fashion week experience, model Frida Aasen invites us along to trail a whirlwind 24 hours in Milan – from glam team appointments to fittings, events and high octane shows

Morning coffee and a Boss fitting

“Starting my day with the essential—morning coffee! There’s something about that first sip that gets the adrenaline pumping, readying me for the whirlwind fashion-filled day ahead. It’s my little moment of peace before I dive into the hustle.”

“Up first? A fitting at Boss. Upon arrival, the logo greets me outside the brick building before I quickly change into my look: a striped coat, cropped white top and a pair of taupe trousers.”

Getting in the makeup chair

“Soon, it was time to gear up for the Alberta Ferretti show. Makeup artist, Charlotte Prevel, and hairstylist, Gonn Kinoshita, were behind my look. Given the edgy allure of the leather coat I was wearing, we decided to make a striking statement with bold, dramatic eyes and sleek, wet-look hair.”

“Before hopping into the car, it was time for some photos with my friend Cindy Mello. Our friend Bobby was behind the lens, capturing every moment.”

The Alberta Ferretti show

“On the way to the show, Cindy Mello and I turned the car ride into a mini photo session. It was all about catching those genuine moments and good vibes before diving into the fashion frenzy. Seriously, there's nothing like sharing these crazy, fun times with friends!”

“So, just before the show kicked off, it was time to hit the step and repeat! You know, that spot where everyone gets their photo snapped with the event backdrop. It was all flashes and poses, with the buzz of excitement in the air. Everyone's energy was through the roof, just moments away from the show beginning.”

On to the evening events

“The day doesn't end with the last runway show, however, and I had a packed evening of events ahead of me. First up was a cocktail event with MyTheresa, which was quickly followed by a Moncler event. I decided to wear Christopher Esber: a cropped blazer and a mini skirt with a dramatic draping detail on the hip.”

At the end of the night

“Finally home after such a packed day! Time to get this makeup off and wind down. Thanks so much for hanging out with me and sharing all these moments! It’s been a blast, and I’m so glad you were part of it!”
