Whether you want to compliment a special someone or decorate your own space, these fashionable florists are the pick of the bunch
Every so often, a gesture says more than a thousand words. So instead of telling your favourite person ‘Roses are red, violets are blue, sugar is sweet and so are you,’ some spectacular flowers will do a surefire job. Fortunately, Copenhagen is home to a wild bunch of dashing florists that will take any blossom lover’s heart by storm. With uniqueness at the heart of their blooming philosophy and a natural flair for all things elaborate, these studios devote themselves to floral arrangements as an art form.
Below our hand-picked bouquet of the most buoyant florists in Copenhagen:

Throughout history flowers have continuously stimulated fashion, art and music – as does Tableau. Since its launch in 2018, the multidisciplinary studio has become synonymous with both exuberant and pointed flower installations that can be found all over the showrooms and events of our most favourite Danish fashion houses. Tableau’s cutting-edge concept store, in the bustling Store Kongensgade, presents an opportunity to purchase a unique bouquet as well as explore alternating exhibitions of local artists, designers, and architects.

Flavo

This flower studio is nothing like your conventional florist. The craft of floral composing has been around forever, however Flavo taps into contemporising how flowers can be consumed more sustainably. Instead of choosing from numerous florets that eventually end up in the trash if the daily demand is too low, Flavo is an online-based florist operating on a made-to-order concept of fresh flowers. Hence, orders must be made before 11.59pm on the previous day and will either be delivered to any address in Copenhagen or can be picked up at the gallery and concept space.

Poppykalas

Floral design studio Poppykalas takes the temporary beauty of flowers and turns them into pieces of art that imbue any imagination long after the last petal has dropped. As such, the work of founder Thilde Maria Haukohl Kristensen spans way further than flower arranging. She has also participated, with floral-inspired oil paintings, in the latest female group exhibition at Arden Asbæk Gallery. Every bouquet at the shop in Frederiksberg is created like a sculpture, making sure each formation is truly individual.

Blooming Copenhagen

Launched on a gloomy winter day in 2017, Blooming Copenhagen was initiated with the ambition to create an adventurous and off-beat blooming universe. Undeniably, mission accomplished. While their bouquets are strikingly pleasing to look at, they inspire all senses and memories. Piecing together flower by flower to a highly personal blend, Blooming Copenhagen takes flower arrangements to new heights.
