The Danish super model wore a ravishing red cut-out dress for the 2021 Fashion Awards
The Fashion Awards in London have kicked off in sartorial splendour, marking the first time the event has been held post pandemic. While a galaxy of stars have lit up the red carpet this year, our eyes were firmly fixated on Mona Tougaard's Alaïa number from the brand's Spring/Summer 2022 ready to wear collection.
The snake-pattern embossed red dress featured an asymmetric bias cut skirt and lace-up cut outs on the hip, and a midriff revealing top, which was one of the stand out trends seen at Copenhagen Fashion Week.

For her ensemble Tougaard chose to wear the entire Alaïa look straight from the runway including the shoes from the Parisian couture maison. She finished off her look with straight slicked down hair with a middle parting and natural glowing makeup, which perfectly showed off her famous features. The outfit was accessorised with bold beaded hoops.
The Fashion Awards ceremony was founded by the British Fashion Council, this year they are being presented by Gen Z's favourite social media platform TikTok. The 2021 Fashion Awards take place this evening, on Monday 29th November at the iconic Royal Albert Hall. This year’s event features accolades such Designer of the Year and the BFC Foundation Award. Swedish-Chilean stylist and creative director Billy Lobos is among one of those nominated by the BFC in the ‘New Wave: Creatives’ category.
