As if we didn't think Gucci's Cosmogonie collection could get any better, Vogue Scandinavia's favourite band Måneskin was the official entertainment.
Set in Castel de Monte, a 13th-century fortress in the Italian countryside, Gucci showed a Cosmogonie resort collection fit for royalty. As fashion's royal style set were in attendance, of course, the soundtrack had to match.
Måneskin is the surprising dark horse of rock 'n' roll (pop) music, catapulting to international stardom after their 2021 win in the Eurovision Song Contest. Since then, they've topped Billboard charts, won awards, and become the official face of Gucci.
So, it was only natural that they would be the musical guest of the evening, especially as they've just released their new single Supermodel, which happens to be written and produced by the Scandi pop elite, with names like Rami Yacoub, Sly, and Max Martin on the credits (along with the band themselves, of course).
Måneskin performed Supermodel for the first time during the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest final on May 14 Even though lead singer Damiano performed with a painful twisted ankle, it's safe to say it was a show to remember.

So, for the official Gucci afterparty, Supermodel was not only thematically on point but also the perfect track to get the party started. So we'll take that queue and add this record to all of our playlists, as it's set to become the song of the summer.
