The Danish actor just upped his fashion credentials with yet another stylish outing in Milan
Sometimes suited, occasionally booted, almost always with a cigarette in hand: Mads Mikkelsen has become something of a mainstay on the streets of Milan come fashion week. And his latest outing hasn't disappointed, with the actor – who recently sent fans into meltdown with a recent nod to his Hannibal villain – stepping out in a slick tailored look to equal effect.
Mikkelsen was suitably dressed for the occasion, being Zegna's winter '24 show as part of the Milan Fashion Week Men's schedule (which kicked off last week with Sabato De Sarno's highly-anticipated debut menswear showcase for Gucci). As a Zegna global ambassador, Mikkelsen took his place front row at the show, titled 'The Oasi of Cashmere', shoulder-to-shoulder with fellow actors Michael Fassbender and Lucas Bravo.
The Zegna show was a celebration of its Oasi Cashmere, which takes its name from Oasi Zegna: 100 square metres of land in the Biella Alps that became home to the house's first wool mill in 1910, and was transformed by the brand into a nature park in 1993. Models made their way around a colossal pile of cashmere fibres at the centre of the runway, coloured in Zegna's classic vicuna hue, in a showcase that marked the brand's intention to commit to 100% traceable cashmere fibres from 2024.
Mikkelsen stepped up to the front row fashion plate in an all-black ensemble, framed with a lapel-less blazer, asymmetric collarless coat and a streamlined black leather Zegna clutch. Looking every part 'His Royal Madsness', as dubbed by a fan on Instagram.
