As we avidly browse Esprit's fresh holiday drop – both online and at Copenhagen's Illum department store – it's clear to Vogue Scandinavia's editors that the beloved brand has kept both festivity and functionality in mind: a key consideration as we plan to navigate parties during the peak of Nordic winter. According to Maria Barsoum, Esprit's slinky navy tailored set is a stand-out to note. "I'm glad to see that Esprit designed a satin suit for their holiday collection," she comments. "Especially since it's in navy blue, a personal favourite. A satin suit is perfect for any occasion during the winter season, it can easily be worn up or down with accessories," Barsoum notes.
Elsewhere, Esprit gives Scandinavian staples a fête-ready twist. One example favoured by Martina Bonnier is a boxy denim jacket and jeans given an eye-catching metallic twist. "I’m a denim lover and I adore Esprit's new take of metallic finishing. It gives my total jeans look a new interesting edge," Bonnier remarks.
