Now you will be able to buy and sell your treasured Jeanerica pieces – and discover never-before-seen upcycled items from the brand. Here’s everything you need to know
Dedicated brand resale platforms have become increasingly popular in recent years, with labels like Gucci, Levi’s, H&M, and The North Face jumping on the trend in a bid to contribute to a more sustainable future for the fashion industry. Now, beloved Swedish denim brand Jeanerica joins the ranks as it introduces its newly minted resell platform, Jeanerica Imparfaite.
“With Jeanerica Imparfaite, the belief is that every garment possesses its own unique narrative,” reads a statement from the brand. “The ethos centres around the celebration of imperfection, where each piece embodies a journey of style and character.” Seamlessly integrated into Jeanerica’s website, the platforms allows customers to shop a carefully curated selection of pre-loved Jeanerica pieces on the platform, “each bearing the marks of its previous owner, adding a layer of authenticity and charm.” Moreover, every sold Jeanerica item grants its previous owner credits to shop for new pieces at the label’s online store, creating a continuous cycle of style and sustainability within the Jeanerica universe.
Taking its eco-friendly venture even further, Jeanerica Imparfaite also boasts a special category named Jeanerica Facilité, where one can browse one-of-a-kind Jeanerica samples and upcycled pieces that never made it into production but deserve to be worn and loved. “The name ‘Facilité’ is derived from the word ‘facility,’ underscoring its deliberate creation for a specific purpose,” explains the brand.
Coinciding with the release of its resell platform, Jeanerica has partnered with the renowned Parisian vintage and second-hand shop Le Vif. Via the collaboration, the companies promise to “unearth rare and one-of-a-kind fashion treasures that transcend time and trends.” Together with Le Vif, Jeanerica compiles a coveted collection of precious, pre-loved pieces that their customers can cherish for years to come.
The Jeanerica Imparfaite platform launches this weekend at jeanerica.com/imparfaite.
