Caroline Winberg is one of Sweden's most successful and well-known supermodels. From Victoria's Secret to Valentino and Versace, she's walked them all. Stockholm-born, naturally she's in the know of all the go-to places for everything beauty and health. Here, she rounds up her favourite spots for an exclusive Vogue Scandinavia beauty guide to the Swedish capital

Working as a model has many perks. We get to work with the best people in the world in makeup, hair, and wellbeing. After 20 years in the business, I've learned a few tricks on how to cheat ageing (without botox), achieve that ever-lasting fresh look, even when you're tired, and I've discovered how to get long lean muscles. I've done this thanks to my go-to treatments, self-care moments, and favourite places.

Stockholm being home, I've racked up a list of my favourite spots to help me achieve my best self. Here's my guide to the best beauty and health must-visits in the Swedish capital.

Qvi Si - Haute Couture Beauté Salon

I started going to their in-house therapist Therese about two years ago, since then she's always worked wonders on my skin. My go-to treatments are Dermapen [a fractional micro-needling treatment that helps tighten, lift and rejuvenate the skin] and PRX [a revitalising peel-like treatment that has all the benefits of peels without the drawbacks]. You can always make sure she has the right machine or treatment to make you glow. Also, make sure to get some silk pillows while you're there, they'll make sure your hair and face are in the best shape after your beauty sleep.

Altromondo Yoga

When I was younger I was obsessed with anything that would make my heartbeat go up and sports I could compete (and win) in. Soccer, boxing and soul cycling were my go-to's. Now that I'm a bit older, I've come to realise that I need yoga and stretching to feel good and, according to my boyfriend (who always wants to meet for a coffee after class), be a better person. My favourite class at Altromondo is Ashtanga with veteran yoga-instructor Celia, her voice is so calming I confess I often even fall asleep during Savasana.

Becore

Back in New York, you could find the whole Victoria's Secret lineup of girls at SLT, a . In retrospect, this was probably why my friend Steve would always want to join me when I went. Here in Stockholm, we have Becore, which offers a Megaformer workout. As training, it's amazing for strengthen the core. I also do their barre classes to help with my behind, as gravity is currently working against me.

PDL Center

Like so many other people, I’ve become obsessed with Padel during the pandemic. It’s such a fun game and a great place to make new friends. Women and guys can play together and now they're even starting to make cute outfits for it as well.

Antonio Axu

It's hard to find a person who can do the perfect blond highlight without the whole hair looking bleached and dull. Thankfully, I found Rimon, a stylist expert in natural colouring who works at Antonio Axu, and now I’m scared of having anyone else touch my hair with colour. It's a very beautiful salon that’s also great for people watching if you're into that.

Heat by Sophia Lie

Sophia Lie, founder of Heat, is an old friend of mine from New York. She started Heat, an infrared sauna business, a few years ago after feeling constantly sluggish and exhausted from a hectic travel schedule. I always try and pass by for a 50-minute sauna when I’m feeling tired or bloated. Now she even added LPG to the treatment list which is amazing for cellulite or water retention.

Benja Lavender Spa

I almost don’t wanna give this spot away because they have the best and most affordable massages in town and I want them still to have a spot available for me, but here I am. They have a small simple spot on Grevgatan but you come out of there feeling like you’re floating on clouds. I would recommend starting with a 30-minute foot massage then let them massage your body for an hour. It will hurt, but in the best way possible.

Spa by Us

If I need waxing or dying my eyelashes I always see Disa, a dermatologist, at Spa by Us. Who doesn't want a Brazilian wax that only takes five minutes? She also gives the best face massage while dying your lashes. I come out of there looking fresh and awake.

Ortagubben

This is the place to go for supplements and snacks. I literally can’t walk into this store and not spend a fortune. They have everything from healthy snacks to kombucha to all the vitamins you need.

Svea Apotek

If you’re like me and have always been obsessed with French pharmacy skincare brands, this is your shop. Klorane, Embryolisse, Bioderma Crealine and many, many more. I promise they have all that good stuff that the best hair and makeup artist use during Fashion Week. Need I say more?
