In a clash of the beauty titans, two of the biggest players in the industry have joined forces and we couldn't be happier. As Bobbi Brown takes on her new role as chief creative adviser, we get the low-down...
Quoting the now-viral Tik Tok phrase 'everybody knows', everybody knows who Bobbi Brown is. And now the mastermind behind the eponymous beauty brand, along with her other venture Jones Road, has taken on an additional new project: joining forces with the top-of-the-line skincare brand Augustinus Bader. A true trendsetter that never settles and never stops.
Founded in 2017, Augustinus Bader is a brand that has made science and innovation their coat of arms, and in five years (with a pandemic thrown in for good measure) has been able to position themselves as some of the best players in the luxury category of skincare and haircare. Now their beauty force has grown even stronger, as Brown, an industry titan, has joined their ranks.
“The partnership was a natural progression starting with Bobbi’s love of The Rich Cream. She started sharing publicly and during interviews her love for Augustinus Bader products, which led to us meeting and developing a personal friendship,” says Charles Rosier, CEO and co-founder of Augustinus Bader. “Bobbi, Augustus and I instantly connected on holistic wellness and well-being and the fact that healthy skin is the key to looking and feeling good. We plan to work closely together on product ideation, creative campaigns, and brand activations. We couldn't have asked for a better partner.”

For Brown, the partnership came as a natural fit from developing personal friendships with Rosier and Professor Bader. “ All the projects I’m involved in really do happen organically and authentically. I learned about Augustinus Bader through their CFO David Nass, who was my CFO during all the years that I was at Bobbi. He taught me everything I needed to know about business. He went to work with Bader and sent me The Rich Cream and it was a game-changer. I’ve tried a lot of moisturisers before but this product made an instant difference in my skin and I’ve been hooked on it ever since,” says Brown.
As for expectations, it’s safe to say we all have high expectations of what might come. “I see such potential for this brand beyond what they’re doing in health, wellness and natural beauty. And honestly, they're killing it already and they've only scratched the surface. It's a bit too soon to speak to specific initiatives but Charles and I are both entrepreneurs at heart, we each have plenty of ideas. I have so many different creative interests and outlets: my podcasts, my industry network of friends, photographers, my experience as a certified health and wellness coach — I see so many opportunities to leverage,” details Brown.
So should we expect an Augustinus Bader x Jones Road collaboration any time soon then? Well, both parties agree: “Not at the moment, but never say never.” We will be watching...
