Chanel's latest fine jewellery campaign sees Acolyte-buzzy Danish-American powerhouse Amandla Stenberg step into her modelling shoes
Kicking off 2024, Chanel launches its Coco Crush Fine Jewellery collection with a playful campaing centered on unexpected meetings. Alongside other A-listers like musician Jennie Kim and actress Lucy Boynton, the musical chairs style video stars our very own Amandla Stenberg, who graced the cover of Vogue Scandinavia last year.
“I 100 per cent believe in a chance encounter,” says Stenberg in a video recorded for the campaign. “I think chance encounters are like the foundation of life. They’re the thread that connects our lives together.” Stenberg has been a Chanel fan since the brand was the first fashion house to dress her at 13, when she had just wrapped The Hunger Games, in which Stenberg played the pivotal role of Rue.
The Coco Crush campaign marks an expansion of the collection, with the addition of mini bracelets, bangles, rings and earrings, some adorned with diamonds. The popular Coco Crush collection, initially conceived in 2015, is known for its more modern and minimalist design, featuring the legendary quilted motif inspired by the classic Chanel 2.55 handbag.
