Swedish retailer Sneakersnstuff joined forces with top hairstylist Sainabou Chune to celebrate the release of the new women's Air Jordan 4 Retro sneaker with 'A Golden Experience'. Below, get the lowdown on the new drop and see all the event snapshots
Since 1989, the Air Jordan 4 has had a chokehold on sneakerheads worldwide, with fans counting down to each coveted drop. The latest release to be marked with anticipation in the calendar? The Air Jordan 4 Retro for women in an exclusive 'White Gold' colourway. It's one of the most elegant renditions of the shoe to date, with a clean white leather base and metallic gold accents on the signature wings, while the tongue is debossed with the unmistakable Jumpman branding.
To mark the release, Swedish retailer Sneakersnstuff has tapped Stockholm-born Sainabou Chune, known for styling the hair of some of the biggest names in Sweden, as well as being the first Black hairstylist to be represented by a Swedish talent agency. Alongside her award-winning hair prowess (with an established expertise in textured hair), Chune has also garnered attention for her distinctive sense of style – making her the perfect face for Sneakersnstuff's Air Jordan 4 Retro 'White Gold' campaign.

Adding to the hype of the release, Sneakersnstuff and Chune also hosted an intimate evening in Stockholm to toast the arrival of the 'White Gold' sneaker. Naturally, it was an all-women affair, with Chune inviting top female talents to the event dubbed 'A Golden Experience'.
With the likes of singers Sabina Ddumba and Seinabo Sey, designer Selam Fessahaye and writer Fanna Ndow in attendance, the event was a chance for the group to revisit and celebrate some of Chune's most iconic hairstyles throughout her illustrious career – while enjoying a wine tasting at Liebling and dinner at Hornstull's Bodega restaurant.
