Countless books on Nordic fashion circulate our bookshelves, but on the occasional slow evening and unwinding work commute, a handy podcast is just what we need. With an influx in podcast production over the past decade, finding just the right series can be a little overwhelming, so to make things easier, we’ve dived into the podcast archive for you. All you need is your phone, a trusty pair of headphones and an unwavering penchant for Scandinavian style.

Fashion No Filter – With Pernille Teisbaek

Fashion No Filter is the creme de la creme of fashion podcasts. Hosted by Parisian fashion journalists Camille Charriere and Monica Ainley, the sartorially savvy duo give listeners a behind-the-scenes insight into how the fashion industry operates.

In an effort to understand Scandinavian style and get down to the nitty gritty, Fashion Forum recently launched a brilliant and informative podcast. Through an examination of the Danish fashion industry, one of the largest in the Nordic region, host Carla Christine Bruus interviews top Scandinavian designers, including Cecilie Bahnsen, (di)vison and Ganni, to gain an industry insight into the current landscape and the future of fashion in the Nordics.

Scandinavian Mind’s podcast covers a lot of Scandi-related ground, but most notably focusses on key topics such as fashion and sustainability, two words that are regularly on people's lips when talking about the Nordics. One of the most poignant episodes that is bound to transport you into a reflective state features Dr Philip Warkander, Senior Lecturer at the Division of Fashion Studies at Lund University, trying to answer important questions like: “How has fashion turned unfashionable? Copenhagen Fashion Week Podcast – Episode 7. The Journey of Rotate

In this stylishly informative podcast hosted by Copenhagen Fashion Week, CEO Cecilie Thorsmark and longtime supporters of CPHFW come together to discuss responsible change and creative freedom. Hosted by long-time fashion expert and trend forecaster Lesley Scott, this must-listen explores fashion and its intersecting disciplines, think everything from biology, history to transhumanism.
